License & Project Status

StaxPing is distributed under a source‑available, noncommercial license.
The source code is openly viewable and modifiable, but commercial use of any kind requires explicit permission from StaxDash.

License Model

StaxPing uses a custom Source‑Available, Noncommercial License, designed to:

  • allow viewing and studying the source
  • allow modification for personal or internal use
  • allow redistribution of modified or unmodified versions
  • prevent commercial exploitation without permission
  • maintain project integrity and author control

This license is intentionally simple and developer‑friendly while protecting the commercial rights of StaxDash.

Noncommercial Use

You may:

  • use StaxPing personally or within your organization
  • modify the source code
  • redistribute modified or unmodified versions
  • fork the project for noncommercial purposes

You may not:

  • sell StaxPing
  • include it in a paid product or service
  • use it in commercial consulting or diagnostics
  • monetize modified or unmodified versions

Commercial use requires written approval.

Requests are reviewed individually.

License Files
