AccountsPlus End User License Agreement #

1. Agreement #
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User”) and ZFordDev for the use of AccountsPlus software (“Software”). By installing, copying, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
2. Grant of License #
ZFordDev grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software under the following terms:
2.1 Free Version #
You may use the free version of AccountsPlus for personal and commercial purposes, subject to the restrictions in Section 3.
2.2 Paid Features #
Cloud synchronization and custom/industry-specific versions require a separate paid subscription or license. These features are not included in the free version.
3. Restrictions #
You shall NOT:
3.1 Reverse Engineering #
Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.
3.2 Redistribute Paid Versions #
Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any paid or custom version of the Software, or any portion thereof.
3.3 Create Competing Products #
Use the Software as a basis for creating a substantially similar product or service that competes with AccountsPlus.
3.4 Remove Notices #
Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Software.
3.5 Sub-license #
Sub-license or transfer your rights under this Agreement to any third party.
4. Permitted Activities #
You MAY:
4.1 View Source Code #
Access and study the source code of the free version of AccountsPlus for educational purposes and to verify security claims.
4.2 Contribute #
Submit improvements via pull requests to the official repository. Contributions become subject to the same license terms.
4.3 Redistribute Free Version #
Distribute unmodified copies of the free version of AccountsPlus, provided that:
- All original copyright notices and EULA terms remain intact
- You do not charge a fee for the distribution
- The distribution is not part of a commercial product or service
4.4 Backup #
Make backup copies of the Software for archival purposes.
5. Paid Services #
5.1 Cloud Sync #
The cloud synchronization service requires an active paid subscription. Subscription terms are provided separately at the time of purchase.
5.2 Custom Versions #
Custom or industry-specific versions of AccountsPlus are available under separate commercial licensing terms. Contact ZFordDev for pricing and terms.
5.3 SchedPlus Integration #
Integration with SchedPlus is available as a premium feature under separate licensing terms.
6. Intellectual Property #
The Software and all copies thereof remain the exclusive property of ZFordDev and are protected by copyright law and international treaties. This Agreement does not convey any ownership interest in or to the Software.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties #
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. ZFORDDEV DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT IT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
8. Limitation of Liability #
IN NO EVENT SHALL ZFORDDEV BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ZFORDDEV HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
9. Termination #
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies.
10. Governing Law #
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ZFordDev operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
11. Entire Agreement #
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications.

BY USING THE SOFTWARE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, UNDERSTAND IT, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS.
