StaxDash Brand and Identity #
The StaxDash brand is an independent studio for system-level tooling. The identity is deliberately minimal and technical — a terminal-forward wordmark, a product/governing accent color, and clean spacing on light and dark surfaces.
Wordmark #
The primary wordmark is the text lockup staxdash/ — lowercase, bold,
tracking-tight, with a forward slash as the active element. On web surfaces the
slash is set in the brand accent (cyan) and the remainder in the surface’s
text color.
- Primary: the live text
staxdash/set in the surrounding interface typeface (no embedded wordmark font). - The trailing slash is the signature mark; keep it when the name appears.
Mark #
StaxDash does not currently ship a dedicated logo SVG. The wordmark and its slash serve as the mark. When a graphical mark is needed (favicons, avatars, small placements), use the wordmark treatment at a legible size or reserve a dedicated mark until an approved asset exists.
Colors #
| Role | Light value | Dark value |
|---|---|---|
| Accent (slash, actions) | #0891b2 (cyan-600) |
#22d3ee (cyan-400) |
| Text (primary) | #0f172a (slate-950) |
#f5f5f5 (neutral-100) |
| Text (muted) | #475569 (slate-600) |
#a3a3a3 (neutral-400) |
| Surface | white | #0a0a0a-family neutrals |
These map to the Tailwind palette used by the website and DocsHub. Use the accent only for the slash, active states, links, and primary actions — not for large areas.
Spacing and size #
- Keep clear space at least one quarter of the displayed wordmark height on every side.
- Do not render the wordmark below ~16 px height; prefer the slash-mark treatment at smaller sizes.
- Preserve proportions; do not stretch, rotate, or recolor parts of the mark.
Tone of voice #
- Honest and plain. Say what a tool does and does not do, and state platform coverage per feature.
- Professional but not corporate. Technical, direct, no hype.
- Open where it is sustainable. The open-source core is foregrounded; commercial products are named plainly, never hidden.
Usage rules #
- Keep the wordmark in its live-text form; do not render it as a raster image unless unavoidable (e.g., email signatures).
- Do not pair the StaxDash mark with other logos in a way that implies endorsement without permission.
- When showing product names (StaxSys, StaxPing2, StaxMonitor, StaxLens,
StaxSuite), keep the
Staxprefix capitalization consistent.
The docs platform identity (DocsHub logo) is separate and governed by the DocsHub brand page.
