About StaxDash #
StaxDash is an independent studio for system-level and desktop tooling. We build small, reliable, cross-platform tools for the terminals and desktops we run — and for the businesses that run them too.
What we do #
- Terminal and system tooling — real-time monitoring and diagnostics that work natively on macOS, Linux, and Windows.
- Native desktop applications — local-first software built for the OS, not around a browser.
- Hosted and on-prem monitoring — observability products on top of our open-source collectors for teams that need retention, alerting, and multi-host views.
How we work #
- Open source by default. Our core tools (StaxSys, StaxPing2) are MIT licensed. Commercial products (StaxMonitor, StaxLens, StaxSuite) build on that open core.
- Honest about scope. Every product documents what it does not do as clearly as what it does, and platform coverage is stated per feature.
- Small footprint. Native operating-system APIs over library bloat.
Commercial engagement #
