PPSP documentation #
Peer-to-Peer Social Platform — a social network where your devices are the network.
PPSP is an early, community-driven experiment in distributed social software. Posts live on your device first and sync directly between friends. Servers can help carry encrypted updates, but they are never the network.
Status: early design phase. PPSP is still an experiment. The architecture, protocol, and technology choices are not locked in, and nothing here yet describes a released or stable product.
Documentation #
- PPSP overview — what PPSP is, how the peer-to-peer model works, and the planned project ecosystem.
Planned sections #
The following sections are reserved but not written yet. They will appear here as the project develops:
- Architecture and protocol
- Client guides (desktop and mobile)
- Server and relay deployment
- Packaging and distribution
- Troubleshooting
Get involved #
PPSP is very early, and that is the best time to challenge it. The overview explains the idea in detail and includes notes on contributing.
