StaxMonitor documentation #
StaxMonitor is the enterprise on-prem monitoring pillar of StaxDash: a hardened, signed, air-gapped-capable agent with a central console and alert routing (webhook, Slack, email). It is licensed per seat/node.
The MVP (v0.1.0) ships a functional agent and a self-hosted console. Air-gapped signing and hardened packaging are simplified in this release and mature in later versions.
This documentation describes the current MVP. Some enterprise hardening described in the PRD is planned, not yet implemented — see the limitations.

Security posture #
The MVP signs agent transport with HMAC when a shared secret is configured and the console rejects unsigned or tampered payloads. Binaries are distributed as standalone executables for offline/air-gapped install. See the organization standards and security policy.
