StaxStore #
StaxStore is the planned application and licensing store for the StaxDash ecosystem. It is the commercial distribution surface that sits alongside the open-source install paths (Homebrew tap, npm, standalone binaries).
Role #
- Hosts paid desktop modules — the commercial StaxSuite modules (StaxMD, StaxWord, StaxCode, StaxKB) and their bundles.
- Issues and manages licenses — per-node / per-seat licenses for StaxMonitor, subscription and retention tiers for StaxLens, and desktop module licenses.
- Provides billing — checkout, invoicing, and license keys/renewals.
- Complementary, not a gate — the free MIT core stays installable via Homebrew/npm/binaries without an account or the store.
Scope #
StaxStore is a distribution and licensing surface, not a marketplace for third parties. It houses StaxDash products and commercial tiers.
Status #
Planned. It will be specified in the project-spec phase and documented here as an implementation exists. See the organization roadmap for current status.
